Day Awakens

A late September sunrise just before the clouds parted.

Everyone has that "special space" where they find relaxation and joy, whether that be nature, family or a good book.  This is my "default" special place where I can enjoy that first morning coffee as I await the sun's arrival.  Of course that special moment is preceded by rushing out of the house, driving up to this point, getting the tripod and camera set up, affixing and neutral density filters and doing a test exposure.  But then it is peace, relaxation and joy.
