Almost Perfect Rose
On a recent trip to the oceanside Fuller Gardens in North Hampton, NH, I was somewhat disappointed to learn I had missed the rose garden in full bloom. There were, however, a few rose blossoms hanging on, and this was one of them. This "Almost Perfect Rose" was pointing straight up at the heavens. To get this shot I held my camera out at arms length, pointing straight down on the blossom and snapped a few shot. When I got back home and loaded the images from my camera onto my computer I eliminated that background, which consisted of dirt and the lawns edge, and filled it in with black to make the rose stand out.
