Summers End

from $35.00

As often happens when I skip careful planning, this New Hampshire sunrise didn't unfold as I'd imagined. The vibrant magenta and gold hues I had hoped for were hidden behind a thick layer of cloud cover that, in this scene, almost mimics the silhouette of distant mountains. But when life hands you lemons, you make lemonade. As the sun began to break through the clouds, I discovered this serene composition, with lakeside sand and grass adding texture to the scene. To my delight, a few northern loons gracefully swam into the mist, embarking on their morning journey, adding life and movement to this tranquil moment.
