On the Maine coast, between Bailey and Orrs Islands sits the only granite crib bridge in the world. It's an amazing structure and one that has stood the test of time. My intent on this trip home from Maine was to find a composition centered on the bridge, one I could come back to when the sun or moon was positioned better than in late December. Instead, I found myself standing on the bridge to capture this scene of three waterfront homes punctuated by the colorful former life-saving station converted to a home.
