Great Blue Heron in Roost
This image was taken at the Circle B-Bar Preserve in Lakeland, Florida in March of 2020. This Great Blue Heron was perched atop this tangle of tree top vines just watching the world pass by. I wasn't sure if it was looking for nesting materials or trying to decide if that might make a good nesting site.
